Apply TWO-STEP VERIFICATION 

Two-step verification is a security feature that adds an extra layer of protection to your WhatsApp account. With two-step verification, even if someone gets hold of your phone number or WhatsApp password, they won't be able to access your account without also having the PIN that you created. This makes it much more difficult for someone to gain unauthorized access to your account.

To set up two-step verification on WhatsApp, you'll need to follow these steps:

1. Open WhatsApp and tap on the three dots in the top right corner.

2. Select "Settings" and then "Account."

3. Tap on "Two-step verification" and then "Enable."

4. Enter a six-digit PIN that you'll use to verify your identity.

5. Confirm your PIN and then enter an email address that you'll use to reset your PIN if you forget it.

6. Tap "Save" to complete the process.

If you lose your two-step verification PIN and don't have access to the email address you used to set it up, there is still a way to recover your account. WhatsApp support can help you regain access to your account by sending you a six-digit security code. To get this code, you'll need to provide your name, phone number, and a recent WhatsApp backup file. Once you have the security code, you can reset your two-step verification PIN and regain access to your account.
